OUR STORY
In the summer of 1990, a group of lay persons joined together to look at ways to meet the needs of the people in the Hitchcock and Santa Fe I.S.D. areas. Thus began H.I.S. Ministries. It all started with Nine churches joining together to sponsor H.I.S Ministries, we have been blessed to have had a greater number of churches joining our cause since then. H.I.S Ministries had opened the one and only self-sustaining fund source Re-Sale Shop in the area. Its purpose has always been to help supply funds to buy food and other items needed by clients in our community and it continues to do so today.

Our Mission
His Ministries exists to share God’s love by providing compassionate assistance to individuals and families in need throughout the Hitchcock and Santa Fe communities. Through food, financial support, spiritual guidance, and other essential services, we strive to meet both the physical and emotional needs of our neighbors, empowering them to overcome hardship and build a more stable future.

Our Vision
His Ministries envisions a West Galveston County where no one faces hardship alone. We strive to build a compassionate and resilient community by offering practical support and meaningful connection to individuals and families in need. Through our services we aim to meet both immediate and long-term needs. Grounded in faith and driven by service, we work alongside local churches, volunteers, and partners to not only ease burdens, but to empower our neighbors toward stability, dignity, and lasting hope.
